Why is this allowed?

Disney trying to appeal to the GoT audience

File: 1494373654636.jpg (69.45 KB, 600x545, black bolt.jpg)

I actually have no problem with that, since that's what Inhumans comics have been like for some time. But for fuck's sake, Black Bolt's costume is so good. And they ruined it.

I'm almost certain they're not even going to call him Black Bolt.

Yes. Captain America books have historically reflected the state of the USA and now that the country is ran by a fascist, authoritorian, dictator for a leader Captain America is a part of Hydra. The story will obviously progress so that unemployed fat trannies rally to bring Captain America back and right his ship.

It's also a shitty story that 1 out of 75 Captain America fans are enjoying.

Definitely picking up this one. Youngblood was one of hte most exciting comics in the '90s, especially with the formation of Image Comics and how important that was at the time. I feel Rob Liefeld's creations really shine when others take and expand on the worlds he established, and that looks like what is going to happen with this new Youngblood book.

Other books I am picking up this week include.

>Lady Mechanika TPB Vol 3

This is a series I like so much I even own the coloring book. Joe Benitez is one of the most overlooked artists, and Lady Mechanika is his creation. It's a steampunk style adventure that follows a cybernetic woman and her journeys. Each volume is a complete story, so having to read any of the previous books is unnecessary.

>Lady Mechanika's investigation into the murders of 'undesirable' children in Mechanika City triggers an unexpected reaction from her subconscious self. But are they truly lost memories finally surfacing after so many years, or just simple nightmares? And what connection does the killer have to Lady Mechanika's past? Collects the complete third Lady Mechanika mini-series, The Lost Boys of West Abbey, including extra pages which were not published in the original comic books.

Will also be picking up

>Courier #2.

Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

It's a trump comic book?

That's the implied tie to the real world.

I don't think anyone's enjoying it per say, but there are some people who pay attention to it. Personally I just think it's not worth the 3.99

Can someone explain the science in this to me?

Ok I got a theory. So the exhaust is warm right? That means it giving off infrared radiation in a specific way so that if you did a spectrum analysis on it you'd be able to determine exactly what it's made of, therefor being a unique fingerprint.
So if the flash vibrates his eyes in such a way that he can see infrared light, then he would be able to follow the car!
Mystery solved.

Are you implying comics are for kids?

Not really, prior to the internet SJWs were still mostly just playing roller derby and complaining about other things.

Yes you are. I'm looking forward to watching you justify Heroes Reborn because cap was 'allowed to be masculine'

Why are they making this?

I liked the Roxxon sign at least

Because the only shows television can get are the characters that Netflix doesn't want. A team goes to movies, B Team goes to Netflix, and the leftovers go to television.

It's unfortunate, because Cloak and Dagger was a book that had interesting characters and situations. Two runaways relying on each other for survival (they needed each other in a symbiotic type relationship).

Unfortunately if the trailer is an indication, it's now going to be a teen drama that heavily relies on the modern expectations of teens. Instead of being intelligent, independent kids that are responsible for their actions, it looks like they have been turned into the quintessential idea that we should remain children indefinitely. Real teenagers don't act this way.

Also, in some of those scenes in the trailer, they were standing way too close to each other. That was awkward to even watch. I assume Freeform (being a Disney company) is going to push for them to be in a sexual relationship.

Also, why the fuck does Tyrone not stutter? It's as if they took out all of the things that made us connect with the characters and just plugged in some cookie cutter humans left over from a canceled season of any other ABC teen show.

They're 100% going to fuck, unless cloak is gay. It's not because of some kind of racemixing agenda, but rather CW syndrome. This is going to be a show like the ones on that network BESIDES The Flash and Arrow. Where they spare no expense to pander to 15 year old girls that watch shows exclusively for shipping.

Looks like Sony finally found someone to pick up this show. Going to be interesting to see how Witchblade fairs on a network that typically pushes values that are in conflict with the series.

>With “The Vampire Diaries” ending this season, Dries will write the script while also executive producing the series with Brian Young. *Marc Silvestri* and Matt Hawkins (writer of comics including “Think Tank” and the President and COO for Top Cow) will also be along to executive produce with Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz.

With Michael Turner being deceased, I wonder if his family had to sign off on the show, or if Silvestri was able to do the deal on his own. Turner's comic Fathom recently got a relaunch, so maybe Witchblade will soon do the same?

I'll bet they tone it down for the NBC audience

do we really need a third Witchblade show?

File: 1492452105752.jpg (474.18 KB, 1680x1050, witchblade_chased_by_troil….jpg)

Need? No. What we do need is one that lives up to the potential of the books. Hopefully this newest one isn't written by a prude, nor written by someone that basis their entire understanding on DeviantArt posts.

A nice balance of story and sexiness.

File: 1491936369573.jpg (259.93 KB, 1200x630, march-comic-book-sales.jpg)

More information at http://www.cosmicbooknews.com/top-10-comic-books-march-2016

I always find these lists to be interesting.

Marvel was the top earner by dollars, while DC was the top publisher. This makes sense considering the top book was the $10 issue of Spider-Man (which is really expensive). Honestly, I'm surprised it sold so well with that price tag. The issue was about twice the size of a typical comic, so the value is justified.

The top 10 comics list was dominated by DC, who secured 5 of the slots, Marvel getting 4 of them, and The Walking Dead by Image Comics being the sole contender not by the big two.

Interestingly, Image has the top two best selling graphic novels, Saga Volume 7 and The Walking Dead Vol 23.

Check out the link for more tidbits from March sales.

>DC readers

Is that image from like, 2005? It's not really relevant now since DC is regularly selling out, and from 2011-2016 people above the age of 15 were saying "fuck everything EXCEPT batman".

Ironically i think Batman isn't that great right now, but i just think tom king's writing style is really bizarre. Detective is definitely the superior book.
