Detective Comics #1000 Anonymous 02/05/2019 (Tue) 04:04:44 No. 1465 [Reply]
Get hype
I don't like her right hand.

Will this be a collectors item in 80 years, or will there be too many speculators to be worthwhile ?
>>1466 Update. The virgin version of this cover sells for just shy of $100 Doubt it will continue to grow, since there were so many printed and the collectors market for comics isn't very large anymore.

I did have SeaMonkeys. Imagine taking bath with Princess Peach... mmm

These were my favorite. Just as advertised, they scared everyone. You would show your rattlesnake eggs off, and when someone opened the container to view them, the bag would shake and make a rattling sound. It was awesome.

Spider-Mans new threads. What you think?
Uh... A little bit too futuristic. DO those lines on his suit glow? It seems like a bad design choice if you are making yourself even easier for the bad guys to see.

Thought this was interesting: Rob Liefeld's first published work, appearing in Warlord #131 (Sept. 1988)

>>1796 Good little story. Funny how the young boy just looks like a short, fully developed man. Doesn't quite have that Liefeld flair yet.

Check out this cover for Red Sonja #1 from Greg Hildebrandt. It's a limited edition cover through Kickstarters. It might look familiar, as it's an homage to his previous work with his brother on the Star Wars poster. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dynamiteent/legendary-artist-greg-hildebrandts-red-sonja

New Superman was revealed, also. I don't mind these style suits, but I always wonder who is making them. Is Superman an expert tailor with access to incredible materials?

What are your favorite /co/ related vidya games?
The game I loved as a kid was X-Men on the Sega Genesis. I put so much time into it (when I only got a new game once or twice a year). I thought it was great, but apparently it wasn't. >The penultimate level contains the game’s masterstroke, both in metanarrative and difficulty, where in order to stop a self-destruct program you are instructed to “RESET THE COMPUTER”, something that can only be done by briefly pressing the physical reset button of your Sega Genesis. If you press it too long—or are playing it on later Sega models like the Nomad or Firecore—you’ll actually reset the game and never see the final level.

Nothing brought strangers together in a bowling alley like Mortal Kombat or the TMNT arcade game. So many quarters.
